Browns trade with Vikings to move to No. 3

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer
Fifty minutes before the draft begins, we have our first trade.

CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman has confirmed the Browns have traded up to No. 3 with the Vikings and Cleveland has given up a fourth, fifth and seventh-round pick in this year's draft to do so. Minnesota also will take the No. 4 pick overall.

Which doesn't make a ton of sense. Unless, of course, the Browns believed the Vikings were going to trade with somebody else, who then would grab Richardson before Cleveland gets to him. So, in that sense, it makes sense in the "not wanting to gamble" sense.
