Andre Johnson tweaks groin, says he'll miss a week of practice

After missing nine games last season because of a bad right hamstring and a bum ankle, the last thing the Texans wanted to see Sunday was Andre Johnson leaving practice because of an injury. But that's exactly what happened when Johnson tweaked his groin and was removed from workouts.

Obviously, it scared the crap out of at least one of his teammates.

The good news: the injury is said to be “slight.” The bad news: coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson would miss a couple days of practice.

"Don't think it's anything significant,” Kubiak said, via the team. “I'm not too concerned right now."

Unfortunately when it comes to Johnson, who also underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in May, anything injury-related has to be a concern these days.

UPDATED (5:20 p.m.): Or Johnson's absence could last a little longer.
