He also tried to practice Wednesday, and it did not go well for him. According to the Post Gazette, Redman “fell painfully on all fours as trainers attended” and he has not returned. That means the only healthy running backs practicing Wednesday were Baron Batch and Chris Rainey.
So much for running back depth, right?
Rashard Mendenhall is on the Physically Unable to Perform list, John Clay's season ended with a thigh injury, fullback David Johnson suffered a season-ending knee injury last week and backup running back Jonathan Dwyer is dealing with a bum shoulder.
