'The Daily Show' spoofs 'Hard Knocks' in advance of political convention coverage

It's a Hard News Life. (TheDailyShow.com)

There's nothing particularly "football-related" with what The Daily Show did on Thursday night with their spoof of Hard Knocks (check our recaps of the first two episodes right here), unless you count "training for something that's about to start," but that doesn't make it any less funny.

Jon Stewart and crew are about to take their show on the road to Charlotte and Tampa (wait, that's NFL-related!) for the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, respectively, and the team of correspondents has to get ready.

So TDS went behind the scenes to see what their crew of reporters would do. By far my favorite moment is Jason Jones practicing his GOTCHA!'s. Although Mrs. Brinson probably disagrees since I've been yelling "GOTCHA!" all afternoon for no real reason.
