Sure, you enjoyed watching NFL preseason football on Friday night. But what you were really thinking was, "I wonder what the Old Gunslinger's up tonight?"
Good news, friend. We have your answer, because Brett Favre picked up his first win as offensive coordinator for Oak Grove high school in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, blowing out Sumrall (Miss.) to the tune of 64-6.
Yes, your first reaction should be the same as mine: Favre's a total jerk for running the score up. I mean, 40-6 wasn't enough?
Per Steven Spieswak of MaxPreps.com, the game was tight after the first quarter, with Oak Grove leading 7-6, but then Favre's squad blew up for 34 unanswered points in the second quarter, and it was a boat race after that.
As you can see from the photo above, Favre isn't exactly using retirement to sit back in a rocking chair and chill out. He's working the refs on the sideline, and, frankly, it's hard to blame him -- using the cache of being Brett Favre to get calls in your favor is definitely something that the Old Gunslinger should embrace.
