VIDEO: Tony Romo is not gonna take it anymore
Tony Romo, much like Dee Snider, is upset, and he's just not gonna take it anymore.
And by “it,” I don't mean the money that Starter has paid him to do this ad. I mean the criticism Romo faces for not winning playoff games (to be fair, he has won one) or becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the league (sometimes, he is).
“People say we haven't succeeded,” Romo says in the ad. “People say we haven't won a championship. People critique our lives … People are focused on what we haven't done.”
All true, of course. And then the kicker.
“That's what I'm focused on too,” he says as the ad fades to black.
Good to know, but at some point, if Romo wants the criticism to end he should win a championship, or at least advance to one. Then, he wouldn't need to make an ad like this in the first place. And if he doesn't after this ad blares on the airwaves, the criticism of Romo could turn into an avalanche of negativity.
At least Romo will share in the disappointment.
