Dale Earnhardt, Jr. does play-by-play on Roy Helu's TD run Wednesday night

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a big Washington Redskins fan. (He's also a big fantasy football guy -- I know this because I asked him after he took me for a spin one time.) So Junior was probably pretty pumped when he was asked to join the local radio booth during Wednesday night's game, a 30-3 Washington win over Tampa Bay.
And you know he got pumped when Sonny Jurgensen and Sam Huff asked him to call a play, especially when it turned out to be a 15-yard touchdown run for Roy Helu.
The NASCAR driver handled things pretty well and we now have video/audio of him calling the run, via Redskins.com.
It's kind of nuts that his one call was a touchdown run, but it's even crazier that Junior didn't really flinch. He got the "he's got the corner" down well and was almost Joe Buck-ish in terms of enthusiasm when Helu got in the end zone, even if he did tack on a "Hail to the Redskins" at the end.
