Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor's ankle could keep him out a while

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer

Although the Steelers pulled out a huge win vs. the Ravens on Sunday, thanks in large part to the ageless wonder Charlie Batch, one of their most important players on defense might be out for a while.

According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Steelers are concerned that cornerback Ike Taylor's ankle injury suffered Sunday could keep him out of action for the time being.

An MRI is scheduled for Monday, and that's when Pittsburgh can give a better update on Taylor's status.

On the season, Taylor has 32 tackles, 13 passes defended and one interception.
