Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles, whose wife's cousin was the victim of Jovan Belcher's shooting on Dec. 1., attended Kasi Perkins' funeral in Austin, Texas, on Saturday.

According to USA Today, at least a dozen members of the Chiefs organization, including owner Clark Hunt and general manager Scott Pioli, flew into Austin and then journeyed to Cleveland later in the day to prepare for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Then, on the Chiefs' first play from scrimmage, Charles took a handoff from Brady Quinn and ran 80 yards for a touchdown, leaving us to wonder just how much emotion the Chiefs and Charles are playing with.

The entire team attended a memorial service for Perkins earlier in the week in Kansas City.
