By Eye on Football staff | None

Teams will be deciding the fates of coaches and front-office types all fortnight (!) long. You can follow the actual/official hirings and firings over at our 2012 Coaching Tracker, but we'll keep you up to date on all the rumors and speculation here (all times ET). Here are the rumors from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Monday, Jan. 7

7:00 p.m.
Contrary to the report from the Plain Dealer, sources tell PFT that Jon Gruden isn't on the Browns' radar.
6:30 p.m.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Clarence Hill reports that RB coach Skip Peete will not return next season.
5:50 p.m.
ESPN Ed Werder tweets: "With K Steven Hauschka questionable, Seahawks bringing in Ryan Longwell, Neil Rackers and other kickers for tryouts."
5:43 p.m.
The New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports that Jets quarterback coach Matt Cavanaugh won't be back with the team next season.
5:35 p.m.
Via ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini: "Confirmed that Bills have requested permission from Jets to speak with DC Mike Pettine for same position, as reported by @footballscoop."
5:15 p.m.
From the Cleveland Plain Dealer: "Cleveland Browns might pursue Super Bowl-winning coach Jon Gruden now that Chip Kelly is out of the picture."
5:05 p.m.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweets: "Seahawks DE Chris Clemons does have a torn ACL & meniscus, I'm told. Appointment with Dr. James Andrews Monday. Swelling not bad at least."
4:50 p.m.
Via John Clark of NBC10: "Ron Jaworski (during a radio appearance) on 975 Fanatic says he talked with Jon Gruden. Eagles havent reached out to Gruden, and says Jon would be interested."
4:40 p.m.
CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora tweets that Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians is set to interview for head coaching jobs. The two most appealing to him: Chicago and San Diego. La Canfora has been saying for weeks that the Chargers like him.
2:22 p.m.
Andy Reid is rocking his full-form, midseason coach-speak style at his introductory Kansas City press conference. He also said that the ultimate decision for the new GM will be made by Clark Hunt. No one, understandably, believes him.
12:15 p.m.
Doug Marrone was introduced at noon on Monday and he was EXCITED YOU GUYS. Marrone also said he wants to hire coordinators with NFL experience. So don't expect a bunch of guys from Syracuse or anything. His defensive coordinator hire is going to be pretty key if he wants to win in Buffalo.
11:17 a.m.
The Browns, who are currently regrouping in their search for a head coach after bailing on Chip Kelly, will take a look at the CFL's Marc Trestman according to the AP. (The emergence of Russell Wilson, who Trestman brought from baseball to football at N.C. State, is certainly helping Trestman this offseason, huh?)
10:15 a.m.
There's a two-horse race for the GM job in Jacksonville between Arizona's Steve Keim and Atlanta's David Caldwell. And according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, whoever gets that job will make the decision on Mike Mularkey's future in Jacksonville. Awk.
9:45 a.m.
Andy Reid will be introduced as the Chiefs' coach as well on Monday, with his press conference going down at 2 p.m. ET in Kansas City.
9:20 a.m.
The Bills announced a noon ET press conference at their facility in Orchard Park, N.Y. No duh exclusive: it's about their decision to hire Syracuse's Doug Marrone as their next coach.
12:01 a.m.
In case you missed it from last night, Chip Kelly spurned the Eagles and decided to return to Oregon. Jerk.
