Falcons WR Julio Jones is fine (as are his legs)

By Ryan Wilson | CBSSports.com

When Al Gore invented the internet, he probably never imagined all the nefarious ways it would be used. The latest example: a hoax making the rounds Monday night that Falcons second-year wide receiver Julio Jones was involved in an automobile accident and broke his legs.

A league source tells CBSSports.com the story isn't true. Jones is fine and he'll be on the field when the Falcons host the Seahawks Sunday in an NFC Divisional game.

This isn't the first time Jones has been linked to a made-up story that temporarily paralyzed Twitter. Back in September, Pro Football Talk published a post titled, "Ignore bogus Julio Jones car-crash rumor."

That advice remains as true today as it did four months ago.
