2013 Super Bowl preview, Tecmo Bowl style

Man, it feels like forever since we've seen a Tecmo Bowl preview of something for the NFL, doesn't it? Fortunately the 8-bit geniuses who produce the modern-day Tecmo setups brought back a Super Bowl XLVII preview for our enjoyment.

Unfortunately for Baltimore, the Ravens don't fare so well. Joe Flacco makes some mistakes (incompletions on wide-open guys, interceptions) and John Harbaugh makes an inexplicable call to kick a field goal down 24-17 with 1:20 left in the game and no timeouts remaining.

My favorite part about the game? San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick scores a walk-off, game-sealing touchdown when he runs off the right side and waltzes into the end zone. But even though Tecmo Bowl was created many years ago, I'm sure running quarterbacks are a gimmick that will die out quickly.
