Ravens safety Ed Reed: 'I'll be playing next year'
It seems like every year, we have to speculate if Ravens safety Ed Reed is going to retire, and every offseason he leaves clues that his career is close to over. Not this offseason, though.

Reed, who will turn 35 next September and whose possible retirement has been overshadowed by the Ray Lewis media monster, told reporters on Thursday that he won't retire after the Super Bowl.
“I'll be playing next year. Next question,” Reed said.
It's good that he's being definitive because earlier in his discussion somebody asked him if this was his last ride, and Reed cryptically responded, “No, I just bought a bike.”
Now, the question will be: in which city will Reed be pedaling next season? The six-year, $44.4 million contract that he signed in 2006 will expire in the offseason, and you have to wonder if the Ravens will want to give him another multi-year deal (there's little question that Reed will want more money than Baltimore will want to pay him).
That said, there likely would be interest in Reed around the league. After all, he's only two seasons removed from leading the league in interceptions while missing six games, and he has maintained his health, starting all 32 games the past two seasons.
