Last month, Titans receiver Kenny Britt -- who has had his fair share of legal problems - attended a party where a stabbing had taken place and then took one of his friends to the hospital before departing and declining to talk to New Jersey police about the incident.
Eventually, Britt met with authorities for questioning, but there didn't appear to be any indication that Britt was in trouble.
Now, the Tennessean is reporting that Jersey City police have arrested one of Britt's close friends, and officers want to talk to Britt again.
On Tuesday, police arrested 28-year-old Domingo Severino and charged him with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Police have contacted Britt's attorney, Robert Lane, to set up a meeting so Britt can “provide additional information pertaining to the case.” Lane had previously told reporters that there was “zero chance” Britt would be arrested.
