Colts' Pat McAfee clowns media member after crack about punters

By Ryan Wilson | CBSSports.com

Big day for punter and kickoff specialist Pat McAfee, who was franchised by the Colts on Friday. This means he's in line to make $2.98 million in 2013 for kicking a football. To be fair, he does more than that: he's also the holder on extra points and field goals, and cracks wise at the expense of NFL media members who opt for lazy jokes about punters and kickers not really being people.

Take, for example, McAfee's response to SiriusXM's Ross Tucker (who, incidentally, was an NFL offensive lineman, starting 24 games over his seven-year career):

So that was hilarious.

Last week, McAfee told PFT that he'd consider the franchise tag an honor and wouldn't have any issues with it. He also said that his old man would "kick his ass" if he complained. No word on what McAfee's dad has planned for Ross Tucker.
