Syracuse coach Marrone lines up interviews with Chargers, Eagles
Doug Marrone, whose work at Syracuse and previously as a coordinator in the NFL has intrigued several clubs, already has had two formal interviews with the Bills and Browns.
He also has meetings scheduled next week with the Chargers and Eagles, according to league sources. Had the Chiefs not acted so quickly with Andy Reid, he was well positioned there as well.
Teams looking for offensive-minded head coaches are particularly intrigued. Those in the Buffalo area are obviously well aware of his ability, as he has turned around a once-sagging Syracuse program just a few hours away.
