Patriots' Rob Gronkowski could be out for rest of playoffs
An NFL source says tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered a "severe injury" to the same arm that was broken more than a month ago.
The source said it's believed Gronkowski broke the forearm again and will need another surgery -- and could be done for the remainder of the postseason.
No one will say officially just yet whether Gronk's postseason is finished. Of course, the Patriots operate as if publicly releasing injury information will cause the galaxy to explode.
However, it's clear Gronkowski's injury is bad. He was in visible pain, left the field, went into the locker room for medical attention and didn't return. The only way he'd stay off the field was if the injury was significant.
