Lions meet with FS Atogwe

Lions' officials met with Redskins' free agent S O. J. Atogwe on Wednesday, but he left the meeting without signing a contract. Atogwe's hard-hitting style would fit well in DC Gunther Cunningham's system, and the fact that Atogwe was a childhood Lions fan should work in the team's favor. Atogwe told the Detroit Free Press he isn't ready to decide where he'll play next season but said Lions' management made a good impression on him. “This is a good team and a good situation, so (Detroit's) definitely on my board,” he said
