Redskins cut Beck

The Redskins cut QB John Beck after drafting two players at that position in the first four rounds -- Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins. They also have Rex Grossman and Jonathan Crompton under contract. "It's disappointing," coach Mike Shanahan said. Shanahan said he told Beck two weeks ago that they might go in a different direction. Beck started three games for Washington last season.
