Report: DE Ellis agrees to plea deal for assault, battery

DE Kenrick Ellis, who the Jets drafted in 2011 in spite of a felony charge of malicious wounding following an incident in Virginia has agreed to a plea deal, according to the Star-Ledger. Ellis plead guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery, which comes with a six-month jail sentence, but per Virginia law, Ellis would only have to serve 90 days.
