Gerhart is preparing for whatever role he fills

RB Toby Gerhart on preparing for the season: “Nothing is guaranteed in this league. Every year I have to battle to win a spot, push Adrian Peterson and make the most of it. It's a little different this year with Adrian's status uncertain. I get a lot more reps, I am building confidence with Christian Ponder and being more of a leader. That's the kind of thing I am trying to embrace this year.”
