Seahawks: Washington farm creates Marshawn Lynch corn maze
If you're one of Marshawn Lynch's biggest fans -- and you know who you are because the trunk of your car is filled with a 6-day emergency supply of skittles -- then Rutledge Farm in Olympia, Wash., has a wonderful surprise for you: a Marshawn Lynch corn maze.
That's right, you can now go Beast Mode in a corn maze. According to Rutledge Farm's Camille Hemenway, Mr. Beast Mode himself is why the maze was built, "Every year, it's a big decision, but we really enjoyed his Beast Mode and the fans were so behind that," Hemenway told MyNorthwwest.com.
The Rutledge Farm website specifically mentions the Beast Quake. Lynch's impossible 67-yard touchdown run that came in the Seahawks 41-36 upset of the Saints in the 2010 playoffs.
The maze will open to the public on Aug. 10 and Hemenway made one thing clear: Marshawn Lynch corn mazes are not easy to navigate. "This one is going to take a little bit of time to get through. It's combined two mazes and it should take you a good hour and a half, two hours to get through."
Lynch will be visiting the "Ode to Beast Mode" on Sept. 1 to sign autographs and raise money for his charity, according to Hemenway.
