Jets: Here comes the wildcat

By Lisa Zimmerman | CBSSports.com

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan has already said his team will likely reveal its QB Tim Tebow version of the wildcat against the Buffalo Bills.

Bills WR Brad Smith is an adept executor of the system, something he proved as a member of the Jets. So it shouldn't be a surprise if Buffalo is ready to defend Tebow when he comes on the field. Both teams have put in extra film work to prepare for the offense.

"You have to pay attention to it. You know they've got it," Bills coach Chan Gailey said.

Bills DE Mario Williams added the preseason is not a good judgement of what the Jets plan to do offensively. But he acknowledged preparing for the wildcat is just one of several areas of concern Buffalo has worked on leading to the game.

"Being that you are facing them the first game, you do not know what to expect," Williams said. "They could do anything so it is one of those things that you have to just get your feet wet in the first area and multiple areas. Then come out and try to adjust to it."
