Bills FS Jairus Byrd will likely be a game-time decision against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday because of a foot injury.

Byrd suffered the injury in Buffalo's Week 2 win over Kansas City. He played the entire game, but he had more swelling than expected on Monday.

“He's taken a step back,” coach Chan Gailey said Wednesday. “He's going to struggle to make some practice this week, so we'll have to see. It may be a game-time decision on him.”

Byrd had a late interception on a Hail Mary attempt by the Chiefs in the 35-17 win. If he's unable to go, the Bills will likely shuffle their secondary. Starting SS George Wilson can also play at FS, which would allow top backup Da'Norris Searcy to slide into the lineup at his natural SS position. Searcy has seen some time at SS with the first unit in place of Wilson at times this year.
