Bengals WR A.J. Green added the AFC Offensive Rookie of the Month award to his resume Thursday. Not that he needs to be updating it anytime soon.

A man destined to be the richest Bengals player in history in the coming years is enjoying one of the best seasons in history to this point. How good has Green been?

Through four games he's second in the NFL with 428 receiving yards. At an average of 107 yards per game he would finish the season with 1,712 yards. That total would be the most in the NFL in 10 years.

Marvin Harrison totaled 1,722 yards in 2002. Since then, whoever led the NFL in receiving yards only surpassed 1,600 yards twice.

Chad Johnson owns the Bengals receiving yards record with the 1,440 in 2007.

What Green's accomplished through the first 20 games has only been surpassed a few players in NFL history. According to ESPN Stats and Information, only three players accumulated more yards per game in their first two NFL seasons than Green.

98-99 Randy Moss: 85.2
10-11 Victor Cruz: 80.8
82-83 Charlie Brown: 79.8
11-12 A.J. Green: 78.2
85-86 Jerry Rice: 78.0

Decent company. He could finish above all of them. If Green continues on his current pace this year he would finish with an average 89.3 yards per game through his first two seasons.

Unparalleled.
