The Eagles' defense has forced just turnovers -- one fumble recovery and six interceptions. Four of those takeaways -- all interceptions -- came in the season-opener against Cleveland, which started a rookie quarterback in his first NFL game and is 0-5. In the last three games, the Eagles have forced just one turnover.
“You just have to be focused on getting the ball when the ball is up in the air,'' Eagles LB DeMeco Ryans said. “It's your opportunity to go up and get it and make a play on it. We've got to find a way to come down with those."
The Eagles defensive players say they're not frustrated and it's just a matter of time before their pressure sparks some game-changing plays.
“Those things, when turnovers start to happen, they come in bunches, you start to get two and three in the game,'' Ryans added. “The turnovers, they'll come.”
