The Vikings released their Wednesday injury report, and there were no real surprises, but there are certainly some things worth noting.

WR Jerome Simpson was listed as having fully participated in practice, and he looked quick when running pass patterns during the portion of practice open to the media. The injury is listed as low back, but he said earlier in the day that the treatment he received all had to do with his leg, where he had experienced weakness and an inability to push off. Doctors have maintained that the leg problem stems from an injury in his back.

S Mistral Raymond was at his first day of practice since bruising a bone in his ankle in the third game of the season. He was seen participating in individual drills but was officially listed as limited on the injury report.

RB Adrian Peterson didn't participate in practice. Coach Leslie Frazier said the team wanted to give him another day to rest his sprained ankle. Frazier expects him to be ready for Cardinals game.

QB Christian Ponder, who has been bothered by a bursa sac on his knee, had full participation in practice.

CB Antoine Winfield (knee), DE Jared Allen (groin), LBMarvin Mitchell (calf) and S Robert Blanton (hamstring) were all listed as limited.
