Broncos have growing concern over Tracy Porter's status

Broncos coach John Fox wouldn't elaborate on the nature of the illness that has dogged Tracy Porter since Oct. 14, when he was unable to make the team flight to San Diego.
But Champ Bailey said he was "very" concerned over the health of his fellow cornerback who did not practice Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.
"You don't really know what's going on," Bailey said. "I try to help all the young players here, but in this situation, there's not much I can do. But We're all praying for him and hopefully he'll be back sooner rather than later."
Dizziness has apparently been a symptom of Porter's malady, which sidelined him at San Diego on Oct. 15. The Broncos had hoped to ease him back into full practice work over the week, but that plan was scuttled after Wednesday and led to Thursday's downgrade.
"He went from 'limited' to 'did not participate.' You fill in the blanks," Fox said.
When other Broncos have missed practice due to illnesses this year, their absences have been short -- usually a day, as was the case with cornerback Tony Carter before the Chargers game.
"Well, I wish it was that easy," Fox said. "Right now, [Porter] is being evaluated. Doctors do that; I don't. When he's cleared to be physically capable to practice, he'll be out there.
"I don't know all the symptoms. Again, that's not my lane. When we figure out how to deal with the illness, then he'll be out here."
