Injuries Sunday deprived the Chicago Bears of much of their offensive speed, along with a couple of starters at guard, in their game against the Minnesota Vikings.

RB Matt Forte went out midway through the third quarter with an ankle injury. He appeared to be favoring his right ankle when limping off the field after a gang tackle and went to the locker room for X-rays.

The Bears lost WR Devin Hester early in the game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a concussion.

Also, starting right guard Lance Louis went out with a knee injury as did starting left guard Chris Spencer. The injuries forced the Bears to put former starting right tackle Gabe Carimi in at right guard because their other guard, Chilo Rachal, had gone AWOL and left the team earlier in the week.

Michael Bush replaced Forte in the offense. Forte finished with 42 yards on 14 carries.

Forte had suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 and missed one game.
