J.J. Watt spits on Patriots logo in Gillette Stadium before game

By Evan Hilbert | CBSSports.com

In December, the Houston Texans went to Foxborough and got smoked by the New England Patriots 42-14. That certainly left a sour taste in the Texans' collective mouth. Houston defensive end J.J. Watt apparently decided to expel said sour taste -- right on the Patriots logo in Gillette Stadium before kickoff Sunday in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Two sources -- one from Boston one from Houston -- have confirmed the incident occurred via Twitter.

First, Zuri Berry of the Boston Globe.

The events were verified by Matt Musil of Houston's KHOU-TV.

(The extended tweet ends with "...fired up for battle.")

There have been no reports as to whether any Patriots players saw the incident, but chances are they'll hear about it somehow prior to kickoff.
