Rex Ryan's offseason is turning into a bigger wreck than the Jets ' 2012 regular season, literally. Ryan was uninjured after being involved in a three-car crash in Bethlehem, Pa., last week, the team confirmed Tuesday.
Ryan was driving his red 2013 Mustang at 6:13 p.m. on Jan. 14 when he allegedly ran a red light, causing the accident. The force of Ryan's vehicle running into the second vehicle cause the second car to collide with a third car.
There were no injuries reported in the accident, which was first reported by Deadspin.com. Ryan ended up leaving his car at the scene and waited for someone to pick him up.
Despite admitting that he was "trying to beat the light," Ryan wasn't given a ticket or a summons for the incident. Instead, he was given only a warning.
It's been an interesting offseason for Ryan, who was photographed earlier this month with a tattoo on his arm of his wife wearing a Mark Sanchez jersey while Tebowing.
Ryan is currently attending the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., and has yet to comment on the incident.
