2013 Super Bowl: 3 sure-fire postgame prop bets

By Evan Hilbert | CBSSports.com

It just wouldn't be the Super Bowl without gamblers wagering on silly things, such as the length of Alicia Keys' rendition of the National Anthem. These bets -- and many others -- are referred to as "prop bets."

Here are the three most sure-fire postgame prop bets following the Ravens-49ers meeting on Sunday:

Bet: What color will the Gatorade (or liquid) be that is dumped on the winning coach?

Line: Clear/Water (7/4), Orange (5/2), Yellow (5/2), Green (13/2), Red (13/2) Blue (13/2)

Pick: This is really the gold standard of Super Bowl prop bets. It's curious that water is the favorite here, given Gatorade's prowess. Seems that purple and red would be the picks -- the teams' respective colors -- but maybe the sidelines don't have easy access to the Gatorade Frost Series. Riptide Rush may not be easily accessible.

Bet: What will be higher, Randy Moss receptions or the number of times Jack or Jackie Harbaugh are shown during the live telecast?

Line: Moss -110, Harbaughs +130

Pick: Have to go Harbaughs here. Even if they aren't shown the expected six billion times, Moss isn't likely to go over, say, five catches. Jack or Jackie can definitely find the cameras more than Moss.

Bet: Who will win the MVP?

Line: (Top 5) Colin Kaepernick (8/5), Joe Flacco (11/4), Frank Gore (7/1), Ray Lewis (15/2), Ray Rice (12/1)

Pick: Let's make this easy: If the Ravens win, Ray Lewis almost certainly will be MVP. There's no real runaway on the 49ers side, but Kaepernick is a heavy favorite over Gore.
