In their latest mock drafts, CBSSports.com draft analysts Rob Rang and Dane Brugler have Damontre Moore going 17th to the Steelers.

Moore didn't help himself Monday at the NFL Combine when he did 12 reps on the bench press, fewest among 37 defensive linemen, and ran a 4.95 40-yard dash.

Moore said he didn't run a second 40 because his hamstring tightened during the first one.

“I had a rocky start with the bench press,” the 6-foot-4, 250-pounder from Texas A&M said on NFL Network. “I was really disappointed. I was nowhere near what I did when I was training, so I was disappointed at that.

“But it's just like football,” he continued. “Something always happens, there's some adversity, you've got to learn from it, forget about it and move on.”

Moore, who tied for eighth nationally with 12.5 sacks last season, said he normally runs in the mid-4.7 range to low 4.8s.

“I've gotta figure out why my hammy is a little tight,” he said, professing confidence he'll be able to run at his pro day on March 8.

Moore's bench press was alarmingly low. BYU defensive end Ziggy Ansah did 21 reps at 225 pounds, and UCLA defensive end Datone Jones did 29 reps.
