The New York Giants have agreed to a deal with defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Jenkins was released last month by the Eagles.

Jenkins received $2 million to sign, and could earn a maximum of $8 million in the deal, with $3 million guaranteed, a source informed La Canfora.

Jenkins, 32, started every game the last two seasons as an Eagle and was due $5.5 million in 2013 before his release. In two years in Philly, Jenkins had 9.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He spent the first six years of his career in Green Bay, winning Super Bowl XLV with the Packers.
