2016 NFL Mock Draft: All seven rounds, including team-by-team picks
The NFL Draft is exactly two weeks away and here's a look at how all seven rounds (yes, all 253 picks!) could play out for every team.
What is tougher than trying to forecast the first round of the NFL Draft? Attempting to predict all seven rounds.
But I’m up for the challenge.
Obviously, this isn’t how the draft will play out, especially once multiple trades throughout the three-day marathon alter the order (this mock is trade free). However, team needs, prospect visits and draft trends were taken into account, attempting to connect teams with prospects.
Round 1
![]() |
1. Tennessee Titans |
Laremy Tunsil, T, Mississippi: Even after free agency, offensive tackle remains a top need for the Titans. As long as general manager Jon Robinson and the Tennessee coaches are comfortable with Tunsil off the field and his injury history, this match makes too much sense. |
![]() |
2. Cleveland Browns |
Carson Wentz , QB, North Dakota State: The Browns are drafting a quarterback this April -- the only question is whether or not that will happen in the first round. Ignoring the decal on the helmet, Wentz has all the tools, mental and physical, that a quarterback-centric coach like Hue Jackson will want to work with. |
![]() |
3. San Diego Chargers |
DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon: San Diego lacks a stud on defense, but that is something Buckner could possibly change. With his size, power and athleticism, the native of Hawaii could give the Chargers their own version of Calais Campbell . |
![]() |
4. Dallas Cowboys |
Jalen Ramsey, CB-S, Florida State: The Cowboys will likely go defense with this pick, but do they go with the pass rusher (Bosa), linebacker (Jack) or defensive back (Ramsey)? I’ll guess they address the secondary, adding Ramsey at cornerback and moving last year’s first round pick Byron Jones to safety full time. |
![]() |
5. Jacksonville Jaguars |
Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State: The Jaguars were big spenders in free agency, adding Malik Jackson and Tashaun Gipson to the defense. Factor in last year's first rounder Dante Fowler and add another impact pass rusher like Bosa and the Jaguars have the makings of a defense no offense wants to face. |
![]() |
6. Baltimore Ravens |
Myles Jack, LB, UCLA: Since becoming the Ravens 20 years ago, Baltimore has always had impact linebackers, something that Myles Jack can help continue. There is no question about Jack’s talent, but the health of his surgically repaired knee is the question mark here. |
![]() |
7. San Francisco 49ers |
Jared Goff, QB, California: Many assume Chip Kelly desires a mobile quarterback, but the most important trait to run his offense is quick mental processor, which fits Goff, who also happens to be a native of the Bay area. |
![]() |
8. Philadelphia Eagles |
Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State: With Demarco Murray now in Tennessee and Ryan Matthews also on the trade block, the Eagles are looking for a new identity at running back. Elliott has the talent to be the featured piece of Doug Pederson's offense. |
![]() |
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida: Tampa needs to address the cornerback position this draft and Hargreaves is a tough-minded, instinctive cover man who is ready to start from day one in the NFL. |
![]() |
10. New York Giants |
Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame: With Will Beatty no longer on the roster and last year's first-round pick Ereck Flowers struggling on the left side, Stanley would make sense as a plug-and-play left tackle from Day One. |
![]() |
11. Chicago Bears |
Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia: Entering year two of the transition to a 3-4 base scheme, the Bears are still searching for an impact edge rusher. Floyd has plenty of question marks, but his flexibility and pass rush potential for an athlete his size will have him overdrafted, possibly this early. |
![]() |
12. New Orleans Saints |
Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville: New Orleans has some solid pieces on the defensive line, but need to continue and add depth. Rankins isn’t only depth, but he has difference-maker potential, also adding versatility to play multiple spots for the Saints’ front. |
![]() |
13. Miami Dolphins |
Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State: The Dolphins are looking to add speed on defense, especially at the linebacker level. Lee certainly offers range, and is an ascending player with high upside. |
![]() |
14. Oakland Raiders |
William Jackson, CB, Houston: David Amerson showed signs of recharging his career in Oakland last season, but he is in the final year of his deal and Jackson would give the Raiders immediate depth and a long-term starter. |
![]() |
15. Los Angeles Rams |
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: As the Rams move out West, they need a fresh face at quarterback who can be groomed as the starter. Lynch is very young in quarterback years, but all the skills are there for him to develop into a winner in the NFL. |
![]() |
16. Detroit Lions |
Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State: Detroit has drafted a first-round offensive lineman two of the past four years, but right tackle is still a trouble area. Conklin, who is a Michigan native, has the position flexibility to play on either the left or right side. |
![]() |
17. Atlanta Falcons |
Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson: There is no such thing as too much pass rush and after drafting a Clemson pass rusher in the first round last year ( Vic Beasley ), it wouldn't be a surprise if they added Lawson, who flourished in Beasley's old spot for the Tigers. |
![]() |
18. Indianapolis Colts |
Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State: Indianapolis needs to make changes in the trenches and keep Andrew Luck healthy so adding a talent like Decker, who can start at tackle or guard, would make sense. |
![]() |
19. Buffalo Bills |
A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama: With Kyle Williams coming off meniscus surgery and about to turn 33 years old, the Bills need to find his successor. Along with Marcel Dareus, Robinson would give Buffalo an all-Alabama defensive interior. |
![]() |
20. New York Jets |
Noah Spence, LB, Eastern Kentucky: One of the wild cards of this year’s draft, Spence has top-10 talent as the best pure pass rusher in this class. However, his heavy baggage will drop him down draft boards where a team like the Jets could find a steal. |
![]() |
21. Washington Redskins |
Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama: While there are questions about his ability to hold up in coverage, Ragland is an impact run defender who adds a physical presence to the middle of the Redskins defense. |
![]() |
22. Houston Texans |
Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame: With a strong-armed quarterback like Brock Osweiler now leading the offense, the Texans needs to find horses that can help stretch the field. Fuller is at his best on vertical routes with the tracking skills and downfield speed to make plays. |
![]() |
23. Minnesota Vikings |
Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi: The Vikings landed Teddy Bridgewater in the late first round two years ago and Christmas arrives in April once again this year for Minnesota. Treadwell is the top wide receiver in this class and gives Bridgewater a powerful possession target on the outside. |
![]() |
24. Cincinnati Bengals |
Josh Doctson, WR, TCU: With Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu leaving via free agency, wide receiver is a realistic option for the Bengals with this pick. Doctson has the size, speed and ball-skills that will complement A.J. Green and give Andy Dalton another downfield threat. |
![]() |
25. Pittsburgh Steelers |
Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson: All 32 teams need cornerback help, but maybe none more than the Steelers. A smaller version of Josh Norman , Alexander needs to improve his discipline and technique, but his swagger and cover skills translate very well to the NFL. |
![]() |
26. Seattle Seahawks |
Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana: With Russell Okung leaving for Denver, the Seahawks need fresh blood at offensive tackle. Spriggs has core strength issues, but his frame and athleticism will be extremely appealing for teams with needs on the offensive line. |
![]() |
27. Green Bay Packers |
Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama: With B.J. Raji taking a hiatus this season, Reed is a plug-and-play nose tackle who offers versatility on the Packers defensive line. |
![]() |
28. Kansas City Chiefs |
Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State: With Sean Smith signing with the Raiders, the Chiefs will be open to drafting a cornerback in the early rounds. Apple has the size, length and speed combination that the Chiefs covet at the position. |
![]() |
29. Arizona Cardinals |
Keanu Neal, SS, Florida: The Cardinals have some questions in the secondary, including at safety. Neal is a known as a physical thumper, but he also has the required athleticism to develop in pass coverage. |
![]() |
30. Carolina Panthers |
Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson: The Panthers brought Charles Johnson back, but Carolina isn’t done addressing defensive end this offseason. Dodd showed steady improvement this past season, finally receiving his chance to see the field. |
![]() |
31. Denver Broncos |
Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State: The Broncos are almost out of options to address their need at quarterback, which might force their hand with this pick. Cook has NFL starting traits, which might be enough for John Elway to pull the trigger here. |

Round 2
![]() |
32. Cleveland Browns |
Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor: Cleveland has their quarterback and now they need to get him playmakers like Coleman. |
![]() |
33. Tennessee Titans |
Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA: The Titans hope to build depth on the defensive line and have shown a lot of interest in Clark. |
![]() |
34. Dallas Cowboys |
Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia: An undisciplined version of Earl Thomas , Joseph and Byron Jones would be an impressive safety combo. |
![]() |
35. San Diego Chargers |
Ryan Kelly, OC, Alabama: A glaring hole on the roster, Kelly would be a day one starter capable to opening run lanes inside. |
![]() |
36. Baltimore Ravens |
Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Mississippi: One of the wild cards in this class, Nkemdiche has top-10 talent and presents an interesting value here. |
![]() |
37. San Francisco 49ers |
Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State: While not easy to replace Anquan Boldin , Thomas has the size, ball skills and routes to thrive in the NFL. |
![]() |
38. Jacksonville Jaguars |
Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor: The Jags have a crowded cornerback depth chart, but no difference-makers. Howard can change that. |
![]() |
39. Tampa Bay Buccaneers |
Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor: With starting nose Akeem Spence in the final year of his deal, Billings gives Tampa a long-term option. |
![]() |
40. New York Giants |
Artie Burns, CB, Miami: Adding Janoris Jenkins helps, but the Giants need to continue and add young pieces to the secondary. |
![]() |
41. Chicago Bears |
Jonathan Bullard, DL, Florida: The Bears continue to build the front seven and Bullard is a versatile lineman to add to the rotation. |
![]() |
42. Miami Dolphins |
Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State: Miami needs to address offensive line depth in the draft, especially at guard. Whitehair a steal here. |
![]() |
43. Los Angeles Rams |
Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State: The Rams need safety help and Bell has a safe skill-set vs. both the run and holding up in coverage. |
![]() |
44. Oakland Raiders |
Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama: Oakland wants more from the running back position and Henry can provide that backfield boost. |

![]() |
46. Detroit Lions |
Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech: The Lions have done a lot of work on Butler as they continue to get younger on the defensive line. |
![]() |
47. New Orleans Saints |
Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma: Ideally the Saints want a bigger receiver to compliment Brandin Cooks , but Shepard/Cooks would be fun. |
![]() |

Cardale Jones, QB, Ohio State: Buffalo is looking for a young quarterback to groom and Jones has all the desired physical traits. |
![]() |

Bill O’Brien knows Zettel well and at this point in the draft, the value makes sense for the Texans.
196. New England Patriots – Vadal Alexander, OG, LSU
197. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – John Theus, OT, Georgia
198. San Diego Chargers – Antwaun Woods, DT, USC

203. Kansas City Chiefs – Brandon Allen, QB, Arkansas
204. New England Patriots – David Onyemata, DL, Manitoba
205. Arizona Cardinals – Tyler Higbee, TE, Western Kentucky
With his pending legal issues and knee injury, Higbee could slip some, making him a steal for Arizona.

208. New England Patriots – Marquez North, WR, Tennessee

213. San Francisco 49ers – Sebastian Tretola, OG, Arkansas

217. Dallas Cowboys – Greg Milhouse, DT, Campbell

Round 7

223. Cleveland Browns – Glenn Gronkowski, FB, Kansas State
224. San Diego Chargers – LeShaun Sims, CB, Southern Utah
225. Seattle Seahawks – Justin Zimmer, DT, Ferris State
With his testing numbers and pedigree, Zimmer fits the Seahawks’ radar, possibly as a covert to offense.

228. Denver Broncos – Trae Elston, S, Ole Miss

230. Chicago Bears – Stephane Nembot, OT, Colorado
231. Miami Dolphins – De’Runnya Wilson, WR, Mississippi State
232. Washington Redskins – Alex McCalister, DE/OLB, Florida
McCalister is a long-term project, but in the final round, this is the type of player you take a chance on.
233. Philadelphia Eagles – Myke Tavarres, LB, Incarnate Word
234. Oakland Raiders – Henry Krieger Coble, TE, Iowa
235. New York Jets – Drew Kaser, PT, Texas A&M
236. Detroit Lions – Adam Fuehne, TE, Southern Illinois

238. Atlanta Falcons – Travis Feeney, LB, Washington
239. Indianapolis Colts – Quinton Jefferson, DL, Maryland
240. Minnesota Vikings – Darius Latham, DT, Indiana
Latham has early round potential, but due to his character concerns, the Vikings get him at a bargain.
241. New York Jets – DeAndre Washington, RB, Texas Tech
242. Washington Redskins – Jalin Marshall, WR, Ohio State
243. New England Patriots – Cleveland Wallace, CB, San Jose State
244. Minnesota Vikings – Stephen Weatherly, DE, Vanderbilt
245. Cincinnati Bengals – Morgan Burns, CB, Kansas State
246. Pittsburgh Steelers – Paul McRoberts, WR, Southeast Missouri
247. Seattle Seahawks – Tajae Sharpe, WR, Massachusetts
248. Green Bay Packers – Antonio Morrison, LB, Florida

251. Philadelphia Eagles – Jake Rudock, QB, Michigan
252. Carolina Panthers – Jordan Lucas, S, Penn State
253. Denver Broncos – Spencer Drango, OL, Baylor
Despite the title here, Drango was anything but irrelevant in Waco, starting 48 games at left tackle.
