Video: NFL Draft Risers-Fallers after Week 13
A pair of playmaking wide receivers are moving up draft boards following impressive an Week 13 of the college football season. Johnny Manziel's struggles against LSU, however, makes him a headliner among the prospects whose stock is slipping with NFL scouts.
With three full months of the college football season finished, NFL prospects have had plenty of opportunity to create an impression on NFL scouts.
Some have boosted their grades through the process. Others haven't played up to their previous standards and are slipping down draft boards as a result.
Week 13 of the college football season showcased some of the nation's most gifted wideouts breaking out in a big way. Rising underclassmen Tyler Lockett (Kansas State) and Davante Adams (Fresno State) combined for a staggering 21 catches for 524 yards and seven touchdowns to force NFL scouts to acknowledge their game-breaking ability. Arizona's star running back Ka'Deem Carey earned plenty of attention for the Wildcats' shocking win over Oregon but quarterback B.J. Denker played a critical role, demonstrating the mobility and accuracy to intrigue talent evaluators.
While passing attacks prospered in some games, some chinks in Johnny Football's armor may have been exposed in another ugly loss against LSU. Serious knee injuries to established stars like Notre Dame nose guard Louis Nix and Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray has their stock slipping, as well.
For those more interested in names rather than the explanations behind the movement in NFLDraftScout.com's rankings, the full list of Five Risers and Fallers from Week 13 of the college football season is below.
