Oregon State cornerback Jordan Poyer was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal trespass, according to a report by The Corvalis Gazette-Times.

The No. 4-rated senior cornerback prospect for 2013 by NFLDraftScout.com, Poyer refuted a report that he was detained by staff at the Impulse Bar and Grill during a fight Saturday morning.

Poyer was forbidden from the establishment following a Feb. 5 incident, according to the report. Team officials said they were aware of the incident and that it would be handled internally.

Poyer had 16 passes defended and 12 passes broken up to go along with 57 tackles and four interceptions in 2011, his first year as a starter. He was named second-team All-Pac 12 and was also named to the LOTT Impact Trophy Preseason watch list entering his senior season.

The junior from Astoria, Ore. is also a standout special teams player as a punt returner and gunner on the coverage teams.

Poyer is an excellent athlete who was an all-state baseball player and has been an outfieldeer for the Beavers, but chose to focus on football this spring.
