12/10/2011 - 2011 ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): DL Gabe Knapton, Sr., Wyoming, has been selected All-Mountain West Conference Second Team for the 2011 college football season as voted on by the eight head coaches and select media panel. Gabe Knapton is being recognized for the second consecutive season on the All-Conference squad. He was an Honorable Mention choice in 2010. Knapton led all Mountain West defensive linemen in tackles this season, with 74. He has 361 career tackles, ranking him No. 10 in the nation among all active NCAA players. Knapton is also ranked fifth in school history and sixth in Mountain West history in total tackles. He led UW in sacks this season (6.5 total sacks), which ranked him fourth in the conference. - Wyoming football
