03/17/2012 - Florida State Pro Day: Through high school and in college, receiver Bert Reed was always been one of the fastest players on the field and he showed that in Tallahassee at Florida State's Pro Day. He ran an "official" 4.46 in the 40-yard dash, but several scouts had him in the 4.3's. Reed, who measured in at 5'10" and 183 pounds, added very good times in the short shuttle (4.32), 3-cone drill (7.21), vertical (34") and broad jump (10'2"). He didn't receive an invite to the NFL Combine last month and projects as a late-round or priority free agent. Running backs Jermaine Thomas and Ty Jones also worked out with average numbers in the 40-yard dash with Thomas running a 4.62 and Jones a 4.75. Offensive tackle Andrew Datko kept his results from the Combine, but was able to lift 225-pounds 20 times. He skipped the bench press in Indianapolis because of his shoulder injury. The highest rated Seminoles in this draft class, linebacker Nigel Bradham and offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders, decided to stick with their numbers from the Combine. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
