03/16/2012 - Matt Broha dropped back in coverage Thursday and quickly snagged a ball with his right hand. "Let's get money, Bro," one of his younger Louisiana Tech teammates yelled from the front rows. The defensive end, in possibly his last time on Joe Aillet Stadium's field, clearly bettered his chances of complying with that wish as he and 12 other athletes participated in the Bulldogs' Pro Day. Broha accelerated in the opposite direction a few minutes later and made another one-handed grab, this time over his right shoulder. "I felt good," he said. "I've had a lot of time to prepare for this, and you only get one shot, so I used everything I had learned in the past, and I just put it to the test out here, and I did some good things. "I do like catching balls. I've got pretty big hands, and I've kinda worked on that these last couple weeks. Right now you just have to make plays, and I showed 'em that I can." Seventeen-year Pittsburgh Steelers scout Mark Gorscak left impressed with the participants as a whole. "At Louisiana Tech, there's something special going on right here," he said. "When you go ahead and see the quality coaches they have here, then you see the quality of players they have - how compliant they were, how well they listened, how well they learned the drills, how hard they work - I was totally impressed with every single athlete out here today." - Jerit Roser, Monroe News Star
