04/04/2010 - PRO DAY RESULTS: Indiana State athletics are known for one name ??? Larry Bird. Since he graduated the school, it has failed to re-enter the national conscience. The football program, in particular, has been an afterthought. The last Sycamore drafted was seventh-rounder Dan Brandenburg by the Bills in 1996. DB Donye McCleskey might be the man to change that disappointing stretch for Indiana State football prospects. he was the most noteworthy player to work out for a Bengals team representative outdoors on FieldTurf. McCleskey (5-foot-11, 209 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 and 4.47 seconds, had a 36-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot, 10-inch broad jump, a 4.53-second short shuttle, a 7.36-second three-cone drill and did 18 bench press repetitions at 225 pounds. Those numbers are certainly in line with draftable players. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com
