04/23/2012 - Former Oregon State wide receiver James Rodgers was at spring practice on Saturday and said he was excited about the upcoming NFL draft. Since the NFL combine and Oregon State's pro day, Rodgers said he has worked out with two NFL teams but didn't want to disclose which ones. He said coaches have told him they like his attributes. "I'm versatile. I can return, catch the ball," said Rodgers. "I'm very excited (about playing special teams.) I like tackling people." He said he doesn't have any special plans for draft day and will spend it "working out and relaxing." "I don't want to set any high expectations," said Rodgers. "I'm just trying to get drafted. I just know I'm on the draft board. That's all that matters." Rodgers has signed with an agent and has received plenty of advice from his brother Jacquizz Rodgers, who was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons last year. "I was around him through the whole process, so I pretty much know how things are going to go." - KVAL Sports
