01/09/2012 - BOWL HISTORY: LSU is 22-19-1 in bowl games, but more importantly it is 2-0 in BCS title games, both of which were played in the Superdome. The Tigers are 5-1 in bowl games under coach Les Miles. PLAYERS TO WATCH: QB Jordan Jefferson has re-emerged as the Tigers' leader because of his ability to throw the ball and run with it. It's no coincidence that he supplanted Jarrett Lee as LSU's primary quarterback during the first game against Alabama. His ability to run the option triggered the little bit of offense that the Tigers managed in the first meeting. It will be Jefferson from the get-go in the rematch. - The Sports Xchange
