Strengths Weaknesses

Has the size, straight-line speed (4.37) and leaping ability for the next level, but hasn't been able to pull it all together yet. Long strider but possesses good hands. - Dane Brugler.

Player Overview

Butler comes from good football genes, as his father, Bobby, was an All-American cornerback at Florida State in 1980 who went on to play 12 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. His brother, Brenton, played basketball for Fordham from 2007-10).

Brice Butler originally signed with Southern Cal and redshirted in 2007. He caught 20 passes for 292 yards in 2009. Butler ended up transferring to San Diego State for the 2012 season, and went on to catch 24 passes for 347 yards and four touchdowns.

An electrifying athlete, Butler ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at his pro day to go along with a 39-inch vertical, a 10-foot-9 broad jump and a 4.40 short shuttle.
