    Analysis
Strengths: Tall, built frame with long arms (33") and the growth potential to continue to get stronger. Physical tackler with a tough, aggressive in-the-box attitude. A lot to love about his intense demeanor. Does a nice job trusting his eyes and reacting with decisiveness. Good length and does a nice job elevating to get his hands on the ball. Physical in press coverage to reroute and do damage near the line of scrimmage. Very tough and doesn't shy from making the big hit. Versatile experience with playing time at cornerback, free safety, strong safety and the hybrid linebacker/safety role he played as a senior (36 career starts). Very productive, finishing second in the conference in tackles with 120 total stops. Weaknesses: Not the most fluid athlete and struggles to quickly redirect with his choppy footwork. Lacks the loose hips to quickly turn in man coverage and is more of a one-speed runner, lacking natural explosive ability. Lean frame and needs to continue to get stronger and add more muscle to his frame. Listed at 185-pounds out of high school and has added over 30 pounds of muscle since. Streaky instincts and plays too aggressive, easily biting on play fakes and misdirection. Needs to show better work ethic off the field in order to continue his development. Comes with some durability concerns. --Dane Brugler
