12/27/2011 - 2011 AFCA FCS ALL-AMERICA TEAM: OL Paul Cornick, Sr., North Dakota St., has been selected to the 2011 AFCA Football Championship Subdivision Coaches' All-America Team announced by the American Football Coaches Association. The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best - the coaches themselves. North Dakota State offensive tackle Paul Cornick became the first Bison player since running back Pat Paschall in 2009 and the 14th NDSU player overall to be named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Coaches FCS All-America team. North Dakota State linebacker Jim Ferge was a two-time selection in 1967 and 1968. Current North Dakota State offensive line coach Scott Fuchs was named to the All-America team in 1993. - North Dakota State football
