Strengths Weaknesses

STRENGTHS: Scouts need not look much further down I-5 to see an undersized dual-threat passer in the Seahawks' Russell Wilson. Price is similarly light on his feet, showing good elusiveness to buy time in the pocket, as well as rolling out. He possesses adequate arm strength and throws a tight-spinning ball with good accuracy. Excellent mobility and toughness in buying time in the pocket, as well as scrambling, when necessary.WEAKNESSES: Undersized at only 6-feet-1 and a shade over 202 pounds. Good, but not elite arm strength.NFL Comparison: Russell Wilson, Seahawks--Rob Rang

Player Overview

After out-dueling Robert Griffin III in an Alamo Bowl loss that ended his redshirt sophomore season, the expectations for Keith Price skyrocketed in 2012. Rather than build upon a breakout 2011 campaign (66.9%, 3,063-33-11), however, Price faltered watching his completion percentage (60.9), yardage (2,728) and touchdowns (19) all drop while his interceptions rose (13). Price has rebounded nicely as a senior, re-emerging as an NFL talent while showing poise and athleticism.Like the "other" undersized quarterback playing in Seattle, Price is often miscast as possessing a weak arm because of his height, but he demonstrated plenty of velocity and accuracy that kept Washington competitive against Stanford and Oregon defenses full of NFL prospects. Price's marginal size limits how highly he'll be drafted, but his experience in coach Steve Sarkisian's pro-style offense is a plus. (10/14/13)

05/07/2014 - 2014 NFL Draft: 126 FBS programs, 126 possible UDFAs: WASHINGTON: QB Keith Price (6-1, 204, 5.00)...Price, who broke many of Jake Locker's school passing records, doesn't have NFL size and will get beat up, but his arm is good enough for the next level and he has steadily improved. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
