Strengths Weaknesses

STRENGTHS: Country strong with the mauling attitude to latch-and-drive defenders in the run game. Has some heaviness in his hands and isn't shy about engaging and forcing the issue. Competitive demeanor with a motor that won't quit, showing snap-to-snap consistency. Natural knee bend to sink his hips and shuffle. Highly coachable and former walk-on who plays every snap as if it's his last.

WEAKNESSES: Lacks ideal size for the position at the next level and doesn't have the growth potential to add bulk or get much stronger. Not overly mobile and doesn't have the light feet to easily recover or easily change directions. Will get grabby with his hands and allows sloppy technique to take over at times. Can be bullied at times and might not have the anchor strength to ever start at the next level.

05/12/2014 - A closer look at the Broncos' picks: Round 6/207 - Matt Paradis, C, 6-3, 306, Boise State...The Broncos' initial assessment of Paradis changed after they learned he weighed over 300 pounds, and not 280 as they initially thought. The intelligent Paradis will face a challenge in sticking on the 53-man roster, but if the Broncos can retain him on the practice squad, he could become their center-in-waiting. - The Sports Xchange
