03/17/2012 - Arizona State Pro Day: The Arizona State cornerback, who missed last season with a torn ACL in his left knee, felt like he proved as much at ASU's pro day on Friday. Working out at Sun Devil Stadium, Bolden said he's starting to show everyone the type of player he was before the injury. "I still have a long way to go," said Bolden, who worked without a knee brace. "I haven't played football since 2010. I'm just anxious to get back on the field." Forty-one NFL scouts and coaches attended the event, including Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. Twenty-five players participated, including NFL draft prospects Vontaze Burfict, Gerell Robinson, Jamaar Jerrett and Garth Gerhart. Quarterback Brock Osweiler attended, but did not participate. He will work out in front of scouts March 30 in Tempe. Tackle Dan Knapp and receiver Aaron Pflugrad were arguably the day's stars. Knapp bench pressed 225 pounds 41 times and said he ran a 4.96 in the 40. Pflugrad, who stands 5 feet 10 and weighs 180 pounds, had 22 reps on the bench, which matched the combine's best performance for a wide receiver. He also ran a 4.55 in the 40. "I'm going to make my living in the slot at the next level, and I feel like I did a good job of getting in and out of breaks," Pflugrad said. "That's a pretty good time for a slot receiver." - Doug Haller, The Tucson Citizen
