10/29/2011 - Behind Tracy Martin's running and a defense that was nastier than the weather, Morgan State dominated Delaware State 12-0 on Saturday in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game. Martin carried 38 times for 154 yards and a pair of short touchdowns. His rushing yardage nearly tripled Delaware State's total offense. The Hornets (2-6, 0-5 MEAC) managed just 2 net yards on 21 rushing attempts, three first downs and 54 yards total offense. On a cold, windy, rainy afternoon, Martin and the Morgan State (5-3, 4-1 MEAC) manhandled Delaware State. After a scoreless first quarter, Martin ran for a 2-yard touchdown but was stopped short on a two-point conversion run. Following a scoreless third quarter, Martin scored again on a 5-yard run. Another two-point conversion try failed. But while Delaware State's offense did nothing, the Bears-who attempted just four passes-ran for 289 yards (90 by Travis Davidson). - AP Sports
